On Wednesday, former Minor Threat/ Fugazi frontman and Dischord Records founder Ian MacKaye spoke to students at President George W. Bush's alma matter, Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. Standing before a packed house, MacKaye discussed the purpose and meaning of punk rock and independent music, as well as the ways in which art can be used to challenge authority. "I was raised to question authority," MacKaye told the crowd, according to the Yale Daily News.
