Their are many things I enjoy,but my biggest are Music,Dance and Sports. I've been into Dance for about as long as Sports,if not longer.My dance styles range from Choreographed moves to some ballroom styles,to B-Boy'n.And for you readers who know nothin' about B-Boy'n,(the incorrect,but probably more known term for this dance style is called "BREAKDANCING")Back in the day,I used to be involved in quite a few battles in the early 80's at "RAINBOW"Skating rink on chicago's northside on Clark street. I've been a music connoisseur since I was about 9 years old.I first started collecting records in the late 70's.I had no idea I would someday become a D.J.My first D.J.lessons came from my oldest brother in about early 1981.He said I was a natural for this,because I caught on really quick.His words were,"you really have a good ear for music to create blends the way you do"So from that point,I took that and ran with it.Their was some time in between then and now when I had to stop due to some things in my life that sidetracked me from continuing, but I knew one day that I'd be back at it.Staying true to my goal,I purchased my first Technics 1200's in early 1992(Which I still own today)and have been back at spinning ever since. I'm now a Crew member of The"VINYLISTS".We are an entertainment crew,which happen to also be VINYL DJ's trying to keep the vinyl alive and in the best way posible...WITH YOUR SUPPORT!!!
